In case of an impact, the harness and the vehicle’s seat distributes the forces across the child’s body to minimize injury.

WhizRider keeps the vehicle safety belt in optimal position and prevents children from sliding forward, submarining (sliding under the lap belt) and heavy head excursion.

How was WhizRider tested? 

WhizRider surpasses U.S. federal requirements regulated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

 

Through random selection methods, every single batch we produce is tested in accordance with FMVSS 213. We repeat these tests using dummies representing 3-year-old, 6-year-old, and 10-year-old children. As parents ourselves, safety is of the outmost importance.

What are the differences between WhizRider and backless booster seats? 

As you watch the actual crash-test footage above, you can see that WhizRider keeps the seat belt in the correct position, protecting the body from moving too far forward or sliding under the belt.

WhizRider was designed and tested based on the U.S. federal regulation standards, and can be used across the U.S.

 

Did you know that countries outside of the U.S. accept the U.S. standard for child safety requirements, or, have no requirements at all? WhizRider is currently legal in 

  • Asia (Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam etc.)

  • South Asia (India, Sri Lanka etc.)

  • Latin America (Argentina, Chile, Columbia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru etc.)

  • European countries with exceptional cases for the use of Taxis (Belgium, France, Ireland, Italy, Netherland, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom*) *including the use of uber services (private hire vehicles)

What are the differences between U.S. standard "FMVSS 213" and European "ECE R44" regulations?

Child Restraint regulation standards such as FMVSS 213 for the USA and ECE R44 for Europe have only minor differences, such as labelling and language requirements. The crash test performance requirements are almost identical, the real difference is that FMVSS 213 is a performance-oriented standard, while ECE R44 is a design-focused standard and does not describe a harness-style restraint system.
